Are we ready for an one some-more tasty one pan chicken meal?   we know we am.   We do eat a lot of chicken in this house, though which is all since it is economical, variable and delicious.  It never gets unequivocally boring.  we would adore to eat some-more beef or lamb, though in all honesty, it’s not inside of my bill solely for on unequivocally singular occasions these days.

Cooked chicken.   You can use leftovers from your Sunday Roast, or utterly simply cook a little weak skinless chicken breasts.  we picked up a container locally, for reduction than a fiver . . .  which had 4 unequivocally vast and tasty pieces of chicken in it.  we poached them in a little easily pickled water.

Put together in only the right way, we finish up with a indeed tasty stew which will have everybody scrambling for only a little bit more.  The recipe serves 6, though we only know people will wish seconds to devise on using it for four.  we do goal we will have it and which we will suffer it as most as we do.

*Chicken and Garlic Potatoes Casserole*
Serves 6
Printable Recipe 

A elementary and tasty chicken stew which creates great use of leftover chicken and store sideboard ingredients.  We adore this.  It is similar to a pot pie, though with a potato crust. 

2 middle baking potatoes, washed, dried, unpeeled and thinly sliced
1/2 390g)  can of boiled onions (like Durkees, about 1/2 cup)
250g of solidified peas (1 heaped cup)
450g of shredded baked chicken (1 pound)
2 TBS butter, melted
garlic powder, dusty parsley, salt and black peppers to taste 

For the cream sauce:
3 TBS butter
3 TBS solid flour
300ml of chicken batch (1 1/2 cups)
150ml of milk (3/4 cup)
150ml singular cream (3/4 cup)
dried sage, thyme, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste

First have the cream sauce.  Melt the butter in a saucepan.  Whisk in the flour and cook over middle feverishness whisking all the time for about a minute.  Whisk in the stock, milk and cream.   Season to ambience with sage, thyme, salt, peppers and garlic powder.  Cook, whisking all the time until effervescent and thickened.  Set aside.

Preheat the oven to 180*C/350*F/ gas symbol 4.  Butter a 2 litre/2quart baking dish.  Line the bottom of the dish with half of the sliced potatoes.   Cover with the sauce, jolt it a bit to concede the salsa to solve down in to the potatoes.
